Overview

"Parents are welcome and needed partners in the education of all children. When parents collaborate with school personnel, children have the support system they need to remain motivated and focused on education. We value the input and participation of all parents, and we are committed to doing a better job of helping parents to become more active partners in the school learning community. What we have learned over the years is that children do better in school when their parents are actively involved with their learning. We need parents to tell us how we can do more to ensure that they feel welcome in the school community.

First days of school should be a celebration for students and parents alike. What most children ultimately become in life is fueled by the beliefs and support of parents. We all were parented, and we know just what a special connection a parent and child share. Our goal is to access the wealth of information that parents have about learning and working with their children. We are committed to accomplishing this goal."
