When my son, who is now 35, was diagnosed with hyperactivity, we refused to place him on medication. Instead we placed him on a special diet, and purchased Earl Mindell's book. We gave our son the vitaminis and minerals that were suggested in the book, and immediately saw an improvement in his behavior. When my 7-year-old grandson started showing the same symptoms as his father, I immediately thought of this book, which has been updated, and is now better than ever. This is a great reference book, and has made my son and his wife much more aware of the results of a diet heavy in high carb fast foods. The addition of the recommended supplements have made a BIG difference in my grandson's behavior.
