Russell wrote all of the songs except "Heart From Me," which was co-written with James Slater. The compositional integrity, special guests, and great singing make this album worth the wait from one of the world's best smooth jazz performers.

    Complete album

The rare experience of a CD that has a complete set of quality songs. This goes on my five disc turn table for Sunday mornings reading the paper. Not that this is Muzac. But it has the soothing quality and relaxed feel of a spring day with the windows open and the curtains flowing, the smell of wild flowers, and the person you love close by. It's hard for music to touch all your senses, but this one did for me, thanks Brenda.

Brenda's Back and Better Than Ever!

It's been like 7 or 8 years since Brenda's last album, and Paris Rain is worth the wait! Incredible music on the new Hidden Beach label. ''Catch On'' is the kind of song you hear once and can't stop singing.
