Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Seldom has a handsome coffee-table book offered so much detailed information. This assemblage should be an eye-opener to those who think astrology is an easy craft for amateurs. In addition to the plethora of charming illustrations, there are many diagrams. Included are an ephemeris covering the years 1921-2000, sidereal times, houses for Northern latitudes, progressions, aspects, and forms for charts. The authors also collaborated on The Compleat Astrologer (McGraw, 1971). While their book may be useful to large reference collections, it is more practical as a book to own, since it offers much more than the usual popular surveys that attract the library browser.--Jeanne S. Bagby, formerly with Tucson P.L., Ariz.

    Confusing Guide to Astrology

The book contained many typo errors as well as confusing ways to describe what the reader is trying to accomplish. The ephemeris and houses for northern latitudes tables are excellent and so are the blank charts. Unfortunately the Parker's needed to have an astrology novice proof read their work before publication. Perhaps future editions will correct errors and also be written in easier to understand step-by-step instructions.

Do not waste your money. Lots of misprinted data

The book explains the theory well but you cannot create a birth chart accurately due to misprinted data. I sent several emails to the author but he failed to give me a proper reply. Simply do not waste your money.

    Buy Parker's Astrology

I love this book! It has so much useful information. It helps you look through the aspects with quick reference tabs. I also found the progressed chart section handy. I would recommend this book to anyone that has the basic concept of astrology. I do however wish that it was worded with ease and contained more pictures to help explain the relationship section.
