This was a great book about partisan life during the holocaust. Very detailed information. I am amazed at the will of people to survive. These individuals fought back. It took a tremendous amount of courage and will power. Faye was an exceptionable person. If you have ever seen the movie Defiance about partisan life during the holocaust and then read this book you can more easily visualize the memoirs of Faye Schulman as she explains partisan life.
