    I Also Recommend:

    Depends on your style.

IF what you want is to re-learn middle school math and cram vocabulary lists into your head, and then practice the test using what you know, then this might be a good book for you. It fits nicely into a purse, which is why I bought it; I thought it would be a quick read but it was too much about learning and not enough about the strategies of taking tests. So... IF you need test-taking strageies in a small, quick format, I recommend Crash Course to the GRE instead, which I found very helpful and very easy to read. This book starts out telling you how the GRE is the test that determines how well you will do in grad school, which it most certainly does not; what it should say is that scoring high simply increases your chances of being accepted since the GRE is the only universal standard by which to compare all applicants.
