Overview

They are called Feral Warriors—an elite band of immortals who can change shape at will. Sworn to rid the world of evil, consumed by sorcery and seduction, their wild natures are primed for release . . .

Though the Mage witch Skye has a gentle heart, demonic forces have enslaved her, forcing her to kidnap Paenther, a powerful and dangerous Feral Warrior. Even chained and naked, Paenther is a cunning prisoner who seduces her, body and soul, turning captive into captor.

Paenther's pride demands revenge against the enchantress who emerged from the deep woods like a sensual vision and enthralled him, even as she makes his body burn with passion. Despite his fury over her treachery, Skye's gentle beauty calls to his soul, calming the wild chaos within him, and stealing his heart. But when evil threatens, Paenther and Skye's only chance at survival is to trust in one another . . . and the power of love.

    Abuse, Betrayl, Love, and Understanding

One of the other reviewer's wrote:

The "heroine" of this book is a whiny, weak, silly, easily manipulated woman who has gotten on my last nerve. It seems as though the author wants the reader to identify with her and feel sympathy for her, but it was impossible for me to muster any sympathy for a character who intentionally hurt the hero of the book and refused to accept responsiblity for it. I found myself hoping that the hero would exact his revenge -- kill her and put me out of my misery for reading this book in the first place.

I have to disagree. The heroine of this book is a woman who has been abused since the age of 8. She has been taught that she is nothing and that no one loves or cares about her, her only value is the power she is able to control as an enchantress. The hero of the book was once abused by other of her race and is therefore, with reason, having a hard time coming to terms with her being "one of the good guys". They go through much pain and heartache in an attempt to find the love that will ultimately heal both of them and their....well I'll leave that part for the book. This is a wonderful story about finding oneself, keeping the bonds of family and friendship alive, and finding a place where we can each be who we are and be accepted by those around us. I hope that you enjoy this book and the first two in the series as much as I did.

    A great and fast read!

I was pulled in at the start and the story didn't let me go. I read the book in a matter of several hours as I couldn't put it down. As I read, I realized I started mid-way as this was the first book of the series I read. However, even in doing so, I felt that the author didn't re-explain everything that happened in the previous books. She did a great job including only the information necessary and left me wanting more. I have already purchased the first book and expect to get the second soon.

I enjoy shifter stories and enjoyed the world that Ms. Palmer created within our own. I initially found some parts of the female lead seemed weak. However, as the book progressed, I believe that as all people have numerous sides and show growth throughout their lives, so did she. We all have lessons in our lives. It is our job to recognize and learn from them. I felt the characters in this book did this. Trust is something I feel is freely given until one doesn't deserve it anymore. Then it is the most difficult thing to regain. It was a primary focus in this book for me. I found it refreshing and exciting, and I will be reading more soon!

    I Also Recommend:

    Simply not a good read

After seeing the cover of this book I was very excited to get started reading, but this book proves the old addage that you can't judge a book by its cover.

I love paranormal romance, but this one just missed the mark for me. I think I'll stick with Sherrilyn Kenyon.

he third Feral Warriors "untamed" romantic fantasy Is fast-paced and exciting

The malevolent demonic ones have forced kindhearted witch Skye to kidnap Immortal Feral Warrior Paenther. In the Blue Ridge Mountains to his chagrin, she has him chained; the second time he has been captured by a mage. However, this time he plans to escape to complete his mission to find and rescue Vhyper, but first he must escape his captivity. He seduces his bewitching adversary, but vows vengeance against bewitching mage-woman who has somehow enchanted him.

However, for him and his mates especially Vhyper to escape the trap, Paenther must depend on the witch who already possesses his heart although he fears her betrayal. Skye vows not again; as she plans to keep the Feral Warrior who owns her heart and his associates' safe even tif hat means the cost of her soul.

The third Feral Warriors "untamed" romantic fantasy (see DESIRE UNTAMED and OBSESSION UNTAMED) novel is fast-paced and exciting from the moment an irate Paenther finds himself chained by a beautiful mage and never slows down as his limbs may be unchained but his heart remains chained. The story line contains plenty of action and passion yet also tells somewhat Paenther's back-story of how he became a rookie Feral Warrior in 1738 Virginia. Fans of the saga will fully relish this entry as star-crossed love means to trust with your life, which (no pun intended) is easy, but trusting your band of brothers is hard.
