Lucas Hunt harbors a bitter grudge against Emily's family—and she is to be the pawn in his game of revenge! As a teenager, she'd craved attention from this powerful, unconventional man…only to discover the dark side of his desire. Since then she's vowed to hate him.

But Luke is determined to become her husband, and Emily can't escape the trap he's laid for her. Nor can she deny that, although Luke is her worst enemy, he arouses a passion in her that she just can't resist!

An exciting debut novel from new talent Kim Lawrence.

Meet the Author

Kim Lawrence was encouraged by her husband to write when the unsocial hours of nursing didn’t look attractive! He told her she could do anything she set her mind to, so Kim tried her hand at writing. Always a keen Mills & Boon reader, it seemed natural for her to write a romance novel – now she can’t imagine doing anything else. She is a keen gardener and cook and enjoys running on the beach with her Jack Russell. Kim lives in Wales.

The heroine is so annoying and there are no real developments in the plot during the first 2/3 of the book. In fact, the same line about why they shouldn't be together is rehashed every few pages and the heroine is so whiny. Don't waste your time or your money on this; it is not one of the author's better works.
