Excellent Guidebook to the Disney Cruise!

The Passporter Guide to the Disney Cruise Line is a genuine, comprehensive guide for the traveler who wants the real story on what can be expected on a Disney Cruise. The authors give candid reviews about everything from the staterooms to the food to excursions. If you can save money by booking your own excursion, for example, they will tell you. If something is not-to-be missed on the ship, they will highlight it and conversely, let you know what you can skip. The authors travel with their child and give the family perspective of cruising real consideration. I would choose this well-written and organized guide over the official line any day. Even if you have been on a Disney cruise previously, the authors cover updated ports of calls or features in the new issues. There website will also contain updated information for the current issue as well.

I especially love all the ways that they advise on how you can save money on your next Disney cruise -- whether to take Disney transfers or rent a car or take a limo; where to stay at port, how to bring your own water and wine on board; and where to find affordable travel gear and extras to make your cruise really special.

Everything is presented in an easy-to-read and organized format. There are pages to fill in for comparison shopping and for keeping important phone numbers and reservation information.

Truly indespencible for the smart and thrifty family traveler!

    Best Disney Cruise Guide

I first discovered the Passporter Guide to Disney Cruise Line in 2008 when I was planning our family's first cruise. A cruise is a significant expense for my family, representing several years worth of vacation budget for us, so I wanted to make sure I did all the pre-planning I could to make sure we got our money's worth. The Passporter Guide helped me to do just that! It has so much information about itineraries, ships, staterooms, maps, ports of call, restaurants and entertainment on board...you name it. It also includes many handy planning and packing worksheets and -- if you get the spiral bound or deluxe editions -- organizer pockets for storing information about your travel arrangements, booking, pre-cruise hotel stay, your plans/tickets/receipts for each day of the cruise, and is well-written and entertaining to boot! Even though I was a newbie to cruising I arrived knowing exactly where to go and what I wanted to do, avoiding much aimless wondering and confusion. I have found it just as helpful for planning my second and third cruises. Since then I have discovered the Passporter Guides for Walt Disney World and Disneyland and have found them excellent as well.
