Ministry burnout is not inevitable!

Why do so many pastors quit the ministry? Of those who don't quit, why do so many want to quit? Could it be that burnout results from a disconnect between their sense of calling to the ministry and their actual job description in the local church?

Davis never doubted his call to preaching and teaching, but admits a disdain for the administrative side of being the C.E.O. of a local church. That dichotomy was a powerful conflict for him-until God reconciled the two in his heart.

This book is for every pastor who struggles to reconcile ministry with administration. The pastoral calling centers on the biblical mandate to teach and preach, but there are other responsibilities that must also be carried out. This book brings perspective to these sometimes conflicting roles-something they didn't teach you in seminary.

Pastor C.E.O. will help turn the drudgery of certain pastoral duties to joy. When you grasp the principles in this book, your fulfillment as a pastor will be realized and the effectiveness of your ministry will multiply exponentially!

Dr. Freddy Davis brings over 25 years of varied ministry to the pastoral leadership table. He spent 16 years as a missionary in Japan and Latvia, serving as a pastor, church planter, seminary teacher, radio host, and church growth consultant. In the States he's worked as a bi-vocational church planter and senior pastor. He's currently a senior pastor, seminar speaker, and president of MarketFaith Ministries. He received his MDiv and DMin from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He lives in Tallahassee, FL with his wife Deborah.
