Library Journal - Booksmack!
Simple, and eschewing pictures, the info here is top-notch. "Don't Miss" sections (e.g., petrified forests at Monumento Natural Bosques Petrificados, the Hooters in Punta Arenas) and "At a Glance" give the extreme basics, such as that you will need three to four days "to visit Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego) and surrounds; double if you plan to trek on Isla Navarino." It's the perfect complement to more in-depth studies like Famous Watering Holes of the Giant Anteater* and The Argentine Football Association's Guide to Blood Sausage*.
