I was drawn to this book initially by the beautiful photos of quilts. I was interested in the idea of changing and manipulating traditional quilt blocks to create interesting and beautiful non traditional quilts. Joen Wolfrom is a terrific author. I was suprised by the detailed descriptions and discussions of the quilts displayed and the techniques used in the book. Many times you leave a quilt book feeling there was too much information left out. Not so with this one. I feel I could get started right away with confidence putting the techniques to work. If you are tired of the traditional blocks and are looking for some great inspirations and terriffic instructions, this is your book!
