From The CriticsReviewer: Dennis Mess, MD (University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine)
Description: This is a new comprehensive monograph on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patellar disorders.
Purpose: The purpose is to provide an up-to-date reference for patellar problems.
Audience: The primary audience is orthopedic surgeons and residents. A secondary audience would include physical therapists, athletic trainers, and physicians involved in sports medicine.
Features: The book's many important features include its current state-of-the-art approach and important historical reviews. It is very nicely illustrated and enjoyable to read.
Assessment: I highly recommend this book. It is an excellent review for the practicing surgeon. It can also be a complete introductory symposium for the resident. This book should find a home in every medical library.
