    Great Book

It explains Buddhism. It has a really simple easy to read guide. You don't have to be Buddhist to enjoy this book.

    Truly a Treasure!

Sharing his experience and wisdom, Jack Kornfield has provided a wonderful guide to the pathway of Vipassana. This book is so helpful in encountering and dispelling the pitfalls to practice. Written with warmth, clarity and humor, it is an easy read and encourages us to continue on in our practice. Many thanks, Jack!

A Path with heart which leads us through the pathless land.

Every step that Jack Kornfield leads the reader through becomes the readers new and wonderful place that Karisnamurti meant when he said that "truth is a pathless land." With lovingkindness "A Path With Heart" leads to discovery of our own truth in that pathless land and it is a glorious thing to find your own truth can co-exist with all others who search for their truth. I have a worn paperback copy of this book which I often just pick up and open it to some random place and read and am uplifted and refresked and reminded that I live today and I live my truth and am ever greatful for this book of loveingkindness, peace and happiness. I did not hesitate one moment when I saw it was available to download and like a child I eagerly away my nook for Christmas so I can load it and many other of my favorite books that inspire me with the wisdome of the ages and take them with me when I travel or just go to a quite spot to read.

    Compassionate & Psychological

'A Path with Heart' gives a unique Buddhist perspective to heal ourselves emotionally and psychologically. It asks us to accept emotions fully, experience them at a deep level and then to release them. The path is not one of denial but of acceptance and also letting go. Jack Kornfield's words are filled with compassion and equanimity, which are two important facets of our spiritual journey filled with both perils and promises.

A Path with Heart: A Guide Through the Perils and Promises of Spiritual Life

I liked this book because it keeps its focus on bringing the spiritual into our daily life. It is second in this regard only to the book An Encounter With A Prophet
