Features: Illustrations depict the procedures to perform a task. All data for this publication were collected from a multitude of healthcare organizations throughout the country. The book is bound in spiral form. The pages are thin and can easily be torn out. The text comes with a thorough index, a list of suggested readings, and a critical thinking self-test which gives the reader access to specific subjects of concern and an active way to apply information.
Assessment: The book gives the reader clear suggestions about using techniques with the patient. It also serves as a review for chronic health care problems. Although the text itself is thorough and useful, the small print makes reading difficult.
