Pattern of Wyrd a Chronicle of Eternal Return
Two rings. Eight centuries. One impossible truth.
When Everton and Anna discover their family heirlooms are matching Viking wedding bands, they assume it's coincidence. Then the genealogist goes quiet.
"Your families," Dr. Chen finally says, "have been intersecting for 800 years."
Five documented marriages. Across medieval Scotland, Norman England, colonial Jamaica. The same two bloodlines—his rooted in the Norse-Gaelic MacLeods with Caribbean and Yoruba heritage, hers tracing Norman nobility—finding each other generation after generation. Against impossible odds.
Then the dreams start.
Everton sees through the eyes of Leod, a 13th-century warrior who married an Irish princess to forge peace between warring clans. Anna dreams of Ailish, who recognized her husband the moment they met—as if they'd known each other before.
Iterum convenimus. We meet again.
When Anna's family journal surfaces with entries matching Everton's dreams word-for-word, they're forced to confront the pattern that's been guiding their bloodlines for centuries. But the pattern was broken once before—in 1847, on a Caribbean plantation—and the consequences were catastrophic.
Now Everton's hiding a diagnosis that could end everything. And the pattern demands a choice: Are they together by destiny... or are they pawns in something larger than love?
Perfect for readers who devoured Outlander and The Time Traveler's Wife.
Pattern of Wyrd: A Chronicle of Eternal Return weaves genealogy, Norse-Gaelic mythology, and Caribbean history into a tale of love that transcends lifetimes. Book One of a series that will leave you believing in soul mates—and questioning what they cost.

About the Author

Ife Ayo Skye stumbled into writing while tracing his family tree
backward through eleven centuries. What began as curiosity about
his Scottish surname led to the discovery of an extraordinary
convergence: Norse-Gaelic warriors, Caribbean plantation descendants,
and Ashkenazi scholars—all woven into a single bloodline spanning
three continents. Fascinated by how human migration creates these
hidden patterns, he transformed his genealogical research into
fiction. Pattern of Wyrd is his debut novel, exploring what happens
when the past refuses to stay buried.
