All Music Guide - Jim Brenholts
Patton/Tora! Tora! Tora! features some of the modern era's finest orchestral performances. The CD does feature all of the elements of the medley along with some cues and incidental music that were not used in the score. As a bonus, this disc also features some of the music from Tora! Tora! Tora!. While neither soundtrack is presented in its entirety, the music is ample evidence of Jerry Goldsmith's reputation as one of Hollywood's film...

    Patton score

Really good score. Classic. I hope more re-recordings come in the future from these guys (hint hint... The Blue Max). The 'Patton' part is better than Tora! Tora! Tora!, but they both work really well in the film. Overall a really good buy.

Not as good as the original score

This version, although conducted by Jerry Goldsmith, is not quite as good as the original score. It is missing the speech and for some reason the volume is very low.
