Helps you get started with rubs and sauces. I've used his template to perfect no less than 6 of my sauces. Paul does a good job explaining to the reader where to hetstarted and how to take off from there.

I enjoyed the book. I smoked 4 pork shoulders for a family get-togather and made the Memphis-Style Barbeuce sauce (pg 176). People wanted to know how many BBQ contest I have won!
