Step back and look at us

This is an incredible book - taking a look at Paul's intentions for the first gatherings of believers. Today we call that gathering a Church. There is a systematic and logical discussion with strong biblical support based on contextual word useage from the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. Plenty of situational, and relevant background information makes this study a wonderful window to look back on how the Christian church functioned and how Paul intended it to operate while providing for us today a chance to step back and look at our Church today in a refreshed light. The book uses advanced language and it took me two readings to better appreciate the book and it's content.
