Furry Fairy Goddoggies run unleashed & amuck to bring a slightly damaged & sexy sports hero together with a bewitching & freckled dog nanny! Watch the furry, panties & tightie whiteies fly!
Teddy Quinn grow up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania, so the land is a deep family history & also in her blood. She has been slowly making her way thru college, pay as you go, to hopefully become an environmental lawyer. Teddy has a dog walking business with her BF, Emma, called "Dog Nanny Pros" & that is how she meet the "Panties Dropping" Noah Cade, with the help of some kooky furry friends!
Noah Cade had a life that many people would crave, until he had a sport injury, surgery & rehab to get his pitching arm back and he is still struggling pitcher on the Philadelphia Patriots. He comes from a Texas family (take 2, stepmom) with its fingers in many energy pies, but he is pure baseball, until they pull the ball from his dead cold hand. His Aunt Roz has always been his heart, for as long as he came remember, but she has Parkinson & begs him to take her 2 kooky 4 legged & furry kids to live with him. There is no way he can say "NO" to her, so now he has 2 furry kids, a traveling baseball career & a head shaking "NO" housekeeper, so what's I guy to do? The freckled red head with the amazing body wearing a tight t-shirt that reads "Dog Nanny Pros" might be the answer to more than 1 of his questions!
A runaway & kooky escaped dog tangles up Teddy & Noah in his leash (sorry I couldn't resist the pun) & after catching the furry runaway, bandaging her injured elbow & a great lunch out, they strike a deal, for massive $, for Teddy to be his doggy nanny. When Toby & Sadie, the furry kids, show up via a plane ride (lucky guys) only Teddy is the calm in Noah's many storms as she moves in 24/7 to care for the furry rugrats. His pitching sucks, his cold housekeeper, Cristina, makes Teddy feel like an outcast plus Teddy makes even painting walls & cleaning up dog punk sexy as HADES & he is going to start pounding some nails. Teddy knows getting sexually involved with her employer is a big fat mistake, but he is making her panties & heart melt.
When they finally given in to their building turmoil of need, Noah rocks her world with his dominating ways & decedent kisses, lips, hands & HELLO package! Teddy's body turns him inside out, with all her spicy curves, gorgeous freckles he can connect with his tongue & all her exotic temptations blows the roof off his heart! What will happen when Energy Daddy meets environmental hearted Teddy? Can they live together if they break apart? Will Noah's pitching arm come back or will he have to leave the Philadelphia Patriots? Can Teddy heal his world & overlook his family business? How will Toby & Sadie use their Furry Fairy Goddoggies' powers to bring this 2 opposite back together again?
This is my first V.K. Sykes romance & I was shocked to learn that Ms. Sykes is actually married couple Vanessa Kelly & Randy Sykes. I have been told that I am a sexists because I don't like male romance authors because HELLO I am female. I also hate baseball (I do love T-ball) with a passion, but Randy has converted me to his way of thinking. YES, a male can write a good romance, with the right partner, & baseball does have some good points like tight pants & lickable players! Teddy is a down to earth, no time for makeup & FLAWED heroine, who has a gooey heart that she tries so hard to hide. Noah is a smooth sensual guilty pleasure of a hero & I am so DOWN with that! He is also FLAWED with his arm, shoulder & possibility of the end of his career, but he had a rare thing with GREAT male role models in his life. I truly believe without the Furry Fairy Goddoggies like Toby & Sadie, Teddy & Noah would never of had a chance at the romance of their lives. I know I gave said this in many reviews, but the "PULL THE FIRE ALARM" & "FLAME RESISTANT UNDIES" scenes are out of this world. Ms. Kelly & Mr. Sykes wrote a romance I read in one night, converted my thinking of male romance authors, totally got me spiked in the passions department & I totally got the first book in this steamy & sexy series! This sporty & furry romance get my score of 4 fingers up & 10 toes!
This ARC given for my honest review.
