    Mac biased

I have always loved PC Magazine, but recently it seems like it has become Mac Magazine. The last couple discuss more of the Ipad, Iphone, Apple Tv, etc... then I care to think about.
I am not a Apple hater, but I think it is funny how magazines like this all of a sudden start talking about how superior the apps are on these devices, rather than the lack of abilities they have. It's like the media has turned 180 degrees on their opinions about these devices, makes you wonder what Mac paid them.

PC magazine is for people who want to know more about tech not the super tech nerds.

I like PC magazine and it's content. It gives me a little more no how on the technical world. Within my circle I'm the gadget know how girl and this keeps me pretty updated. You forget this is a monthly subscription and contant is changing every day so no it will not be as updated as said a well constructed website. But if you really like tech, have a busy life, but would like to relax on your sofa and read what is going on around the computer world this is a good buy. No, not for you guy that sits in front of your computer six hours a day or someone who has a job that pretains to constantly being in the know. Just your average person who has a job not in the field and is your average consumer because we all know magazines are for consumers silly nerds. That being said it would have at least one more good artical to teach a little more but that is all I am giving you on this one. So take it, later boys. OH and aftrer thought if you wrote a review and don't have a NookColor then seriously what you wrote means nothing because that is the platform it is meant to be on.

    It's good.

PC mag seems a little light on content but still pretty good. I tried it out for 2 issues and honestly, I feel spoiled by PC world and prefer that magazine (even though I have to read it the old fashion print way or through zinio). But without any other real competition on the Nook, PC mag is the best tech magazine available right now and still a very good publication.

Nothing to do with PCs any more

This magazine really sucks. It now almost nothing about PCs or PC software. Its articles are unreliable and poorly written.

My how the mighty have fallen

Oh, PC Magazine, how far you have fallen! At one time you were relevant, professional and accurate. Now, there are dozens and dozens of free websites that have more accurate, interesting, thoughtful and timely news, editorials and reviews.

Not for anyone even vaguely techie.

Horrible writing ([this device] at .4oz feels light, since it weighs just under half an ounce), terrible navigation, too much security coverage and not enough hardware. Reviews don't focus on actual concerns and way too much Apple wankery as of late. Disappointing that this is the only computer-related ezine on the Nook so far.

    Not Great

The information in the articles is not very up-to-date. That was acceptable in a paper version, where printing and posting were involved, but not when it is electronic. There were various links mentioned during articles but it was not possible to click on those in the NOOK version. Maybe they are only for other electronic versions. They would have made a big difference as more in-depth (and up-to-date) information could have been included. I subscribed to this magazine for many years as a paper product but won't bother with this electronic version.

Not what it used to be...

As a long time subscriber to the printed version which ceased to be published over a year ago, I can confirm that PC MAG digital is but a mere shadow of its former self...a pity.

FREE ISSUE LEADS TO 2 YEARS OF AGGRIVATION!

I ordered a "free" issue that was offered 2 years ago. My bank info was old. (which I didn't think mattered as it was free...) The PC Magazine came onto my nook but could not be accessed as a message told me that my banking information was invalid...I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DELETE PC MAGAZINE OFF MY NOOK EVER SINCE!

    Not PC Magazine Anymore

Gone is the PC. Replaced by the iPod, Galaxy, Laptop, Notebook, etc. Staying with the market, not the product, PC Magazine now covers more telephones than PC products. It covers Apple above IBM or HP. If you want a magazine that provides editorial comment on everything electronic based on advertising revenue, this is it. Staying abreast of iPhone minutia does not get any of my time. It may be of interest to some, but the lack of any focus, and the paid for coverage of everything makes it just a spam source to me. Adios PC Mag.

    Slightly Disapointed

Some very good content, but not at all what I expected. As a prior subscriber, from the distant past, I was expecting more than what I see here.

    What's happened to PC Mag?

I used to love reading PC Magazine. I subscribed to the digital edition only to find that it's now an Apple fan-boy magazine. Apple, Apple, Apple. I don't happen to own an Apple computer nor do I own an iPad. And that makes 75% of this magazine irrelevant to me. And the parts of this magazine that aren't glorifying Apple products in endless article after article are now reviews of products that I will never own. Reviews of cell phones. Don't care. Reviews of cameras. Don't care. Reviews of office printers. Don't care. A giant section on laptops. A bit more relevant, but only if you're looking to buy a new laptop. And I'm not. The 974th article written this week on the 10 cell phone apps that I "must have!". Naahhh. And the 11 billionth article on the certain, absolute, impending death of the desktop computer (Yawn. Again? Really? The nerdosphere has been saying this for years. Something new, please?) In all fairness, there WAS a preview of Windows 8 that I enjoyed, but there wasn't much else that I found that applied to me or to my daily constant use of PC's. So, I thumbed through my latest edition of PC Magazine in about 2 minutes, page after page of nothing that I could use and page after page of reviews of products that I'm never going to buy (and am not interested in reading about either). As a performance PC builder and power user, this magazine offers nothing at all for me anymore. It's now just endless product reviews and things that really aren't relevant to a PC user. Subscription cancelled.

    Not so good...

I'm not excited about PC Mag anymore. Their magazines are small and nothing technical in there like the old days. Mostly reviews...reviews...reviews. They need to get in the geek of things again! I won't renew.

    PC Magazine on Nook

I love the way Pc Magazine is presented on Nook. I used to subscribed to it on the Kindle, but Nook reading of the magazine is far superior.
