    BEFORE you buy an SLR

This handbook is an excellent start for anyone who is thinking about getting a digital SLR camera and does not know where to start. It is not for experienced shooters, but is great for beginners like me. There are many full color examples to accompany Rob Sheppard¿s descriptions, which were helpful to me even after I bought my camera. So, before you drop a grand or so on a camera, read up on the specific cameras you¿re thinking about purchasing, and check out this book, with more general information about the digital SLR world.
