Very good book. Like this kind of books. I find Peace Is Every Breath: A Practice for Our Busy Lives very inspirational and useful mostly for beginners. Of course, here you don't find an explanation what meditation is and for this you need to read something else. For example, "A crossing or the drop's history" by Anatoliy Obraztsov or works of Osho. But recommend the first one because it close to us, modern people.

    Highly recommended

I really knew so little about Buddhism or meditation. The book is inspiring & an easy read. I wish I had some of the deep listening & breathing skills earlier in life. Lovely book that has definitely sent me on a course of wanting to learn more.

This is absolutely the best book I have ever read on meditation,

This is absolutely the best book I have ever read on meditation, because it is so very doable. No time sitting alone trying to meditate, knowing you have umpteen other things you should be doing. This moves right into your life, and gives techniques that can stay with you though out your whole life. It gives ways to calm your thoughts, and really delineates, or outlines the difference between a calm mind and a stormy mind in such an understandable simple way, that I feel it should be taught to everyone. Enjoy!

I read this book as part of a contemplative prayer group. This is a good how to book for people that are just beginning meditation. If you are already experienced at Christian contemplative prayer or other forms of meditation the book is informative by too elementary.
