Peace on Earth: The Best of Tingstad & Rumbel Christmas

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Adam Greenberg
Collecting various items from their previous two Christmas albums, new age duo Tingstad & Rumbel here present a more stereotypical set of Christmas classics in their own "American Acoustic" genre. The music is primarily guitar with wind sometimes oboe, sometimes an ocarina, sometimes perhaps a flute. Also on the album are a couple appearances from pianist David Lanz. The album is entirely instrumental and acoustic, with the performance itself quite stereotypical of a basic shopping mall holiday soundtrack, but makes for worthwhile atmosphere music during the season.
