Peacebone based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
Peacebone starts with the extremely catchy single off of their 2007 album Strawberry Jam. It uses artificial sounds mixed together to create a beat that becomes background noise throughout the song. It features an extremely catchy chorus that resembles the style that Animal Collective introduced in their previous release, Feels. The second song on the album is a nine-minute-long b-side and it consists of two distinct parts. The first two minutes are composed of a repeated piano melody played behind Avey Tare's singing. The second part is much more relaxed and introduces some rhythm. In comparison to the first track, the Black Dice remix is not nearly as pleasing to the ear and it lacks the catchy nature of the original song. The Pantha du Prince remix is simply a techno song with some samples from Peacebone. It does not resemble the original song at all.
