Advocate and activist, Janet Lord Leszl served on the Citizen's Advisory Council of the Delaware Autism Program for ten years and co-authored the Parent Handbook for the Delaware Autism Program. She performed Kids on the Block puppet shows on autism to elementary age students and was a founding member of the Delaware chapter of the Autism Society of America. After moving to Maryland, she served on the Board of Directors of the Arc of Northern Chesapeake Region for several years. She and her husband have two adult children and live in Abingdon, Maryland.
