    Ok

This book had a lot of potential, but never lived up to it. I skipped alot of it and could still tell what was going on. Even for a debut novel, this book wasn't great

This book is about 2 sisters Helena and Lizzie ┬┐Pedalling Backwa

This book is about 2 sisters Helena and Lizzie “Pedalling Backwards” and forwards (from past to present and back again) dealing with many issues in their lives. This book was slow to start and once you get about a third of the way in you can’t put it down. The story flowed from past to present and while it was hard to see Lizzie deal with the death of her unborn baby and of her sister, you have cheer for her as she deals with the sadness in her life. A tad bit depressing – it will then sucks you in right to the very last page.

    Peddling where?

Book started out interesting enough, but man it ended up being a chore to finish. The death of a child would be horrible, but this woman has too many other problems. She"s cold, uncaring, and just plain mean to everyone in her family. Don"t think she"d have done very well as a parent herself. Anyway, the book drug on and on and on. We get it, (how she felt) and all. Book would have been better as a 100-150 pages. Too gloomy, nothing to keep the interest going, and just boring. Story idea good, but didn"t do much with it. Just basically repeat, repeat, repeat.
