Editorial Reviews

Kirkus Reviews
A dog with a heart-shaped patch over one eye peeks from behind a squishy fabric heart on the cover of this lift-the-flap board book. "Who's that hiding under there?" Lift the chair-shaped flap on the facing page to reveal, "Peek-a-boo! / a brown bear in a chair." Flaps lift to reveal in turn a dog, cat, cow and a mirror. Peek-a-boos are right up the developmental alley for the board-book audience, but these flaps are made of a regrettably flimsy stock, which clumsy toddler fingers will have difficulty lifting. For as long as they're willing to let their grown-ups drive, this will please them well enough. The publisher gives a 3-6 age range; while preschoolers' small-motor skills can handle the flaps, there's not enough substance to sustain their interest. (6 mos.-2)

    Terrific Book for Babies

My four month old niece loves looking under the flaps and she tries to pick them up. Her mother reads it to her several times a day. She responds to all the characters. Perfect for developing a love of reading for babies.

    Great Read

I don¿t feel I can give the author, Sandra Magsamen, any justice by listing a biography here like I typically do in my reviews. I urge readers to check it out at www.sandramagsamen.com. She is truly one of a kind and has my complete respect.
Peek-A-Boo, I Love You is a picture board book targeted for infants to three years of age. It has lift-the-flap pages so young readers may see surprises underneath, and written in a poetic rhyming format.
This book follows a similar layout to her other children¿s books: Baby Love, My Blanket, Goodnight, Little One, Little Blossom, Butterfly Kisses, and Love Bug. Peek-A-Boo, I Love You, by Sandra Magsamen, is a one of a kind treasure for all little ones, guaranteed to win over your heart immediately, and remain on your bookshelves long past your child¿s college years. Beautifully illustrated and simply told, it is a must have!

Kelly Moran,
Author and Reviewer

    Cute!

Very cute! This interactive Peek-a-Boo book is just long enough to entertain, but short enough to not mind reading it again and again. Each page has a slight rhyme with something cuddly that will say Peek-a-Boo!

Even though reading the first time through it was a little difficult to open the flaps and turn to pages after that initial opening is taken care of the book is great and fun to read and share.

I recommend it!
