The first part of this book is a little outdated with some hokey comebacks and excuses for kids to give their pressuring peers. You can, however, use this book as a guideline for discussing peer influences with your child. Also, the following sections on praise and discipline are well worth your time. All children can do with more praise delivered effectively. When my kids see me reading these type of books.. they say 'Look out! Mom's reading one of those child psychology books again!' But I feel they are flattered that they are important to me that I would be making an effort to understand them better. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
