Meet the Author

Paolo d'Agostini is a journalist and a film critic who has served on the screening committee for the Venice Film Festival. Franco Zeffirelli is an acclaimed film and opera director, a designer, a producer, and a member of the Italian senate. His film version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet was nominated for an Academy Award, and his TV mini-series Jesus of Nazareth is televised worldwide during Easter. He was awarded an honorary knighthood by the United Kingdom.
