Well done Regency romance spinoff off of Pride & Prejudice with a little Bronte throwen in!

Anna Elliot does a fine bit of fanfiction with this Pride & Prejudice spinoff into the mind and future of Miss Georgiana Darcy. Our young miss keeps a wonderfully well written diary that shows her maturing through her experinces and glimps into the lives of many of P&P's beloved characters. Note the node to Bronte's Jane Eyre as well in the story line including injuries suffered, pets, and a governess. All in all very enjoyable!

This was a wonderful Part Two to the Pemberely Chronicles!

Georgiana seemed to have matured in this second part in her engagement to Edward. Which was a good thing. Although she was cute in her naivity in Pride and Prejudice, it's a relief to find out she won't continue in that blushing schoolgirl ways. And it's also refreshing to see Wickham get socked in the jaw after all that he's put the Darcy clan through.

This series is a wonderful continuation of Pride and Prejudice

I really enjoyed this continuation of Georgiana's story. I especially liked the change to the Continent and the maturing of Georgiana and Kitty Bennet. I had to find out what happened next with Kitty's Diary (Volume 3 of the series).

    I loved this series.

I have always been a Pride & Prejudice fan, so naturally I was glad to be reunited with some of my favorite characters. It was fun to see where different characters ended up. I wish there were more in the series.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, "Georgiana

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, "Georgiana Darcy's Diary", but I was a bit disappointed in this second book. It seemed more one dimensional and less character development. Actually, it would have been better if she had just added a bit more onto the first book and not try to force herself to write another book. This was the same as when two hour movies should really have been a one hour TV show. I am not even going to buy the third book, because I don't want to get sucked in. Oh, and I was not happy to find out that the last 50 pages of what I thought were going to be this book turned out to be a "preview' of the third book in the series. Not cool.

    Excellent

This may be even better than the first novel! It was extremely suspenseful, and overcoming the numerous trials portrayed in the book gave an even deeper understanding of the characters and their emotions. Very moving.
