Pendle Witches, The - England 1600's: Book 2 of 7 - The tale of Anne Whittle (Old Chattox)

The Pendle Witches England 1600's

Book 2 of 7 The Tale of Anne Whittle /Old Chattox

The books are fictionally based on the true names and part facts of seven of the accused witches involved being sentenced to death mostly, although innocent, and is as follows:

Anne Whittle, known as Old Chattox, was once a beloved healer in Lancashire, her voice and herbal wisdom cherished by her village. But years of hardship turned her into a bitter outcast. When a devastating drought struck, her desperate plea to the spirits brought not salvation, but a flood-and with it, accusations of witchcraft. Betrayed by her former friend Demdike and cornered by a starving village, Chattox confessed to a devil's pact to save her daughter, Anne Redferne, from execution. Condemned as a witch, she faced the gallows with defiance, whispering to the earth itself: "The earth remembers me." Her death did not silence her. To this day, her spirit lingers on Pendle Hill, a ghostly reminder of injustice, her voice carried by the wind-a cunning woman who refused to be forgotten.

This is the second book in a series of seven audiobooks and I do hope you enjoy this second instalment, and it's only $3 dollars, all subsequent will remain at that price.

I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes plus, called Haunting Elegy, uses flute and harp to set the scene of witches living life as they could. The closing music ends in a sad way, called Melancholy same instrumental at nearly 3 minutes as the fate that befalls these innocent people awaits them.!

The story itself runs to about 13 minutes, and and is narrated in my own voice.
