Using the proven EOS heart-centered leadership approach, readers will learn how to:
  • Identify and implement your company’s Core Values

What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

People brilliantly captures the transformative power of intentional company culture. As a great addition to the Traction Library, it underscores that at the core of every successful business are its people. A vital read for any leader aiming for more than just business as usual.”
—Gino Wickman, bestselling author of Traction and creator of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)

People is the most consequential book you’ll read all year. The authors emphasize the undeniable: get the people aspect right or risk everything. EOS, with its signature clarity, dives deep into the core issues and offers entrepreneurs a blueprint to transform ideas into results. Where many leaders see a challenge, this book reveals a competitive advantage.”
—David Kolbe, Visionary and CEO of Kolbe Corp, and expert on human performance

“As someone who’s passionate about entrepreneurial teamwork, I’m so impressed—People is an incredible how-to manual for how to attract, develop, and retain great team members by having an intentional culture. As I read it, I kept thinking of everyone I wanted to read it—it’s that good.”
—Shannon Waller, entrepreneurial team strategist, strategic coach, and author of The Team Success Handbook and Multiplication by Subtraction

“Not only does this book come from the heart, the authors have done a fantastic job tying the importance of intentionality, courage, and commitment to a strong people component in your business. People offers another valuable building block to help entrepreneurs find freedom toward living their ideal lives.”
—Alex Freytag, expert EOS Implementer, coauthor of Profit Works, and creator of ProfitWorks

“Our people, and our level of intentionality in nourishing and cultivating culture, can make or break the success and impact of a business. People is an essential puzzle piece of the EOS tools and methodology to building an intentional and powerful culture.”
—Anese Cavanaugh, CEO of Active Choices, Inc., creator of the IEP Method, founder of Positive Energy Workplace Initiative, and author of Contagious Culture

People is my new handbook for the most fundamental part of the business—our people. As an Integrator, I’m already using this book as a key resource for myself and my team. It seamlessly blends practical advice and real-world examples while giving you everything you need to handle your most important people opportunities.”
—Amy Bruske, Integrator and president of Kolbe Corp and expert on human performance

“When you lead and manage well, you begin the journey of intentionally managing human energy with heart. You’ll be inspired and challenged as you focus on what most entrepreneurs struggle to make the time for—elevating your team. This book offers a path for doing the work to produce leaders who produce leaders.”
—Sue Hawkes, expert EOS Implementer, CEO of YESS!, and author of Chasing Perfection

“The message of People resonates very well with my ‘people-first’ mindset when creating a healthy and productive environment in which to effectively lead employees . . . The key word here is ‘intentional’ and that’s why this book is a must-read for any entrepreneur or team leader who sincerely wants to lay down a strong foundation on which to build and grow a successful business and transform the people around them.”
—Sunny Kaila, founder and CEO of IT By Design and author of Talentpreneurship

“I have always stayed away from the word culture; I thought of it as a poorly defined, namby-pamby, academic word that is often tossed about and used by people with an idea but no real-world sets and reps to back up how they were using the word. Until today, when I finished reading People . . . CJ, Kelly, and Mark have boiled down what we do as EOS Implementers™ into two words. We help owners and leaders create and maintain their own unique intentional culture, the culture that must exist in order for them to enjoy their EOS Life™.”
—Walt Brown, expert EOS Implementer since 2008, author of The Patient Organization, Death of the Org Chart, Rise of the Organizational Graph, and Attract or Repel
