    Exciting and innovative paranormal

People of the Bear is a creative twist on the werewolf legend, using shapeshifting bears as the subject. With folklore, romance and mystery woven together in a spellbinding story, you'll be quickly drawn into the world of the Bearwalkers. I'm anxious for the story to continue in the next book of this innovative series.

You won't be able to put it down!

Lindy Anderson has fled to a secluded cabin in Minnesota after a horrible divorce. The last thing she wants to see is another man, but this one shows up wounded on her porch. She reluctantly brings him inside to discover that he has been shot, and he has yet a greater secret - Gareth is a shapeshifter, able to exist as a human or bear. Gareth's Bearwalker clan, who normally leads a secretive existance in the deep Minnesota woods, is in mortal danger. They don't trust humans, but will they allow Lindy to help protect them? This is a page turner, as I was drawn into the world of the Bearwalkers. Lindy's passion and concern for the Bearwalkers is as powerful as the clans' Guardian, who will do anything to protect his clan. The author has done an outstanding job of creating wonderful charactors, believably passionate and threatened. I look forward to the next installment of the Bearwalker trilogy.
