The emphasis is on an organic, acoustic approach augmented by heavily rhythmic percussion and even hints of blues "Blood White Gold". Toback's vocals are similar to Eddie Vedder, but, in keeping with the music, minus the arena-strength delivery. The lyrics tend toward introspective and slightly esoteric, but rarely do they become overly ponderous. Perfect Flux Thing is a well-done effort that is intimate and ...

Perfect Flux Thing is a well-done effort that is intimate and compelling, revealing more with repeated listens.
