. A great beach read! I really enjoyed this book. Lately, I haven't been that thrilled with the whole romance genre, but I found this book refreshing, funny, and the characters were fantastic. 




Freya is a web designer who has lost her creative spark. She decides to look for a muse to get it back. Greg is her upstairs neighbor, who happens to be an attorney. Freya hates lawyers. Greg is determined to win Freya over, and freely admits he's absolutely in love with her and wants forever right from the very beginning. The supporting characters were funny, intelligent, and just as great as the two main characters of the story.  I loved the way Ms. Perry sets the book up for future stories in the series, and couldn't wait to read the next one.

I loved this story!  The characters were great, especially Greg!  I can't wait to see what happens in the 
lives of the others I met in this book!  I'd recommend this to anyone who loves a well thought out plot and
lovable characters!

I believe I have found my new favorite author! She writes wonderfully and connecting to the different characters seems instantaneous while reading. Just finished  my second book and it was refreshing that they didn't come off as the same story with different characters. I have been telling my coworkers all about this book and Close to You... thank you for making me a fan!

I absolutely love Kate Perry!!!! Every one of her books is amazing. I reread them whenever I need a pick me up. The Laurel Heights series is an absolute favorite. You can easily relate to all of her characters. She has created some of my favorite book boyfriends ever.

This is the first of Kate Perry's Laurel Heights books I read on my Kindle and instantly became addicted to the series. This one in particular has a great plot, with Freya having writers block, a steamy neighbor who is in love with her, and a sister who meddles. I love that all the characters are intertwined and that you still can follow them throughout the series. Kate Perry has a way of writing that instantly makes you feel like you are a part of the friendships in Laurel Heights. I can picture myself at Grounds for Thought or at the lingerie store chatting with the gals. The male characters are completely into the female characters in a way that is both erotic yet tasteful. You won't be disappointed with any book in this series!

I really loved this book. The characters were really fun and witty. I loved the second story with Anna and Max. I am sad to know (after having read the 2nd book) that you assume their relationship continues. I was expecting another book. But, anyway...Loved the characters, couldn't wait to read Eve's book.

I was resignedly searching for something fun to read, and came across the book Laurel Heights Series by Kate Perry. To be honest, I'm a nerdy book snob with very stringent requirements for my reading material, and a book by an author I’ve never heard of with a name similar to a popular pop/rock singer … well, let’s just say I was very skeptical. However, being a voracious reader who was jonesing for a good read, I bought the first book of the series, titled “Perfect for You.” and began to read. Wow … let’s just say I was quite pleased! A fun, energetic, wholly entertaining romance along the lines of Nora Roberts or LaVyrle Spencer. I actually purchased the entire Laurel Heights series and can’t wait to read her other stories. For me, newer-on-the-scene author Kate Perry is THE author to watch!

Perfect for You is the perfect a book for cuddling on the couch with a good book. This book is a quick and easy read. Freya teachers you not to judge other people before you get to know them. She also shows you that you can’t believe stereotypes. Freya eventually lets her guard down and love unexpectedly finds her. This book is happy, cheerful, and will warm your heart. There is even sexy love scenes that don’t allow you to stop reading! I really enjoyed the book. Everyone should go read it!

I couldn't put this down, this book had me since chapter one!!! I needed to know how it was going to end! These are wonderful characters, you feel as if you are part of the story, I was enveloped. Freya definitely gets her muse back as she fights her feelings for her upstairs neighbor Greg! Greg knows how Freya, feels about him but but she refuses to give in, but allows her to "use" him to find her muse as inspiration for her adult site ad, while he tries to convince her how right he is for her! A must read!!! I had to get the following book in the series!!!!!!

Very cute story! I will undoubtably read others in this series. Just diappointed it is only 185 pages on the nook. Was hoping for a longer story.couldnt put it down.Had to see what the outcome was. Wasnt disappointed, of course. Will read more by this author.
