Next Matt and Jerry help the reader to understand how to configure a Standalone EMS, get the engine started, prep for tuning, and tune the engine for maximum power and drivability. Also covered is advice on tuning other functions— acceleration enrichments, closed loop fuel correction, and more. Best general EFI book on the market

Especially for the price, this book as all of the ins and outs of getting more out of your EFI or installing one on a car without it. The book is logically organized by ramping you up to installing your own EFI system.

This book keeps things fairly general. If you are looking for the exact theory behind how electricity flows through wires, go elsewhere. But the book does give an explanation of what is relevant to an automotive EFI enthusiast in a quick 1 paragraph summation.

The big thing I never found in any other book was the step by step "How do I tune my car" procedure. Not only do they tell you that, they give you different scenarios based on what you have available. Some people have access to a dyno, others have to tune on the street. Regardless, this book covers them.

This is a must have for anyone who wants to tune their own car.
