Finally¿. a well written, clear and accurate book that leads the reader through the Performance Testing maze. This should be mandatory reading for all serious web developers, testers and program managers.
I've recently had an opportunity to read Microsoft ACE Team's (http://aceteam) book "Performance Testing Microsoft .NET Web Applications" and would highly suggest this book to anyone who is looking to find performance bugs or increase performance on your teams web applications. The book is well written, gives real world examples, explains the most common bottlenecks in different areas and how to detect them (disks, network, web tier, sql tier, etc) and has a great section on how TCA works. MS Press would also love your feedback on the book. The book is available through MS Market at cost (go to MS Market and search for ISBN 0-7356-1538-1). I highly recommend this book.
