Meet the Author

JoAnn Loulan has been in private practice as a psychotherapist in the San Francisco Bay area. She is a mother, author, and lecturer. She has authored books, chapters, anthologies and articles on topics of sexuality and self-esteem. Her lecturing has taken her all over the U.S., Canada and parts of Europe.
Bonnie Worthen previously worked as a facilitator in women's sexuality groups. She and her husband are currently living in Spain. She is the mother of two adult children.
(JoAnn Gardner-Loulan and Bonnie Lopez Worthen are two of the three original authors.)
Diagram illustrations are by Marcia Quakenbush—the original illustrator and one of the original authors. The new line drawings are by Chris Wold Dyrud of Minneapolis, MN.
