Very good debut of new Avengers squad!!

Many times when new characters are introduced in comics you either get them rammed down your thoughts with their gimmicks, clichés, etc. or you're given mystery on top of mystery just for the sake of mystery. The newbies here are given enough background and mystery combined that it's a great first step. Add that to the ongoing drama of Hank Pym, Quicksilver, & Speedball and you have a really good debut. The art by Mike McKone and Jorge Molina is really good and the characters are identifiable and the action scenes dynamic. Overall, really good stuff!

    Chracters!

Diverse powers and abilities. A great bunch of kids, though I have to say I am a bigger fan of the Young Avengers these kids have some serious powers. On the fringe of good and evil.

Better for tweens and teens or adults trying to recapture their youth. Not for serious Avengers fans.

    Christos Gage is the best.

This is my favorite on going monthly title. The characters are relatable, human, and complex. The art is magnificent! The best comic book you aren't reading yet.

    Class Is In

New characters, new adventures, new class. A group of trouble youths with superpowers are abducted by Norman Osborn and are rescued by the Avengers. But being an Avengers there's a lot of things you need to know (like who well you know your teachers).
