I love the other spanish version Sandra Boynton books and consider them to be helpful in my goal to raise my three old to be bilingual. This one may be useful when he is older and actually reading the words himself, but the text is simply, "un perro"; [next page ]"dos perros", [next page] "tres perros", etc. with just a couple of brief exceptions. The pictures are charming and fun of course. There is an excessive amount of "woof woof" etc dialog to read on each page which is simply tedious to me. At this point when I am reading to my son, this just isn't helpful to me. I can count anything in spanish and that's largely the only vocabulary this introduces. In a couple of years when my son is reading, this may be perfect for him, but now it's not very useful to us. I recommend Sandra Boynton's books 'Buenas Noches a Todos' and 'Opuestos'.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
