I found this book incredibly helpful and insightful. Just one example: I had the hardest time understanding why one of our daughters had to constantly buy new clothes even though she was paying for them. It seemed like such an unnecessary waste to me. Florence helped connect the dots by explaining how that is typical for sanguines, and our daughter is an "off the chart" sanguine!! Parenting conversations and natural consequences have helped bring balance here, but she will always have a penchant for fashion and now I understand it more.
I also love how the book is structured. First she helps you understand the temperaments and figure out what you and your spouse and your children are. Then she looks at all the possible combinations between child and parent and tells you the things that will likely be easy for you in your parenting that child and what things will be difficult with suggestions about how to make it work the best. Excellent book.

What great information to understanding children, as young as babies. I can see the emerging personalities and I now know how to be positive, encouraging, and uplifting for my new grandchildren. In today's rushed world, we need to pay attention to helping them grow into self confident people. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
