    Very engaging reading

One of those books you're not sure you want to read, given you already know the tragic ending. But Paul Green constructs a life story that reaches in so many directions, you really do forget the ending, while sharing the memories of Peter Duel's life with his sister and many friends and colleagues. Green resists the temptation to "narrate" and offer his own assumptions and opinions, opting instead, to offer context and a vivid timeline so the story can unfold on it's own. Well written, engaging, and worth reading. And even if you're not familiar with the actor's work or his life... it's an honest portrait of a young man's struggle with the world, and with himself.
