    Nice, easy book

This was an interesting little story. It was aimed towards kids, but I think it will appeal to older readers.

    Great

I loved this story. Reminded me of To kill a Mockingbird with the mischief these boys cook up not to mention the kid next door with the same name. Not just for kids.

Bottom line: Fun, suspenseful read for kids and adults! Peter

    Bottom line:

Fun, suspenseful read for kids and adults!

Peter moves away from home to live with his rich and crabby grandfather out in the middle of nowhere. He soon makes a new best friend named Dill who tells him about some strange midnight happenings in the backyard garden.

Most of the short chapters (well-designed for a bedtime read) end with a cliffhanger that will keep you engaged. There were a few places where I felt the author went on a bit long, and a couple other places that were a bit predictable (from an adult point-of-view), but I think kids will really enjoy Peter and Dill's antics.

This book is perfect for kids around the 4th grade reading level. Recommended read.

This was a fun and quick read. I really enjoyed the character Dill. The grandfather is a bit scary. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Its the one that started it all...
Peter and the Monsters, I hold you in a higher light of respect than Goosebumps, Scooby Doo, Campfire Weenies, or any other middle school horror series.
