Author Info:Ridley Pearson is the award-winning co-author, along with Dave Barry, of Peter and the Starcatchers, Peter and the Shadow Thieves, Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, Peter and the Sword of Mercy, Escape From the Carnivale, Cave of the Dark Wind, Blood Tide, and Science Fair. In addition to Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark, Kingdom Keepers: Disney at Dawn, and Kingdom Keepers: Disney in Shadow he is also the author of the young adult thrillers Steel Trapp: The Challenge and Steel Trapp: The Academy. He has written more than twenty best-selling crime novels including Killer View and Killer Weekend. He was the first American to be awarded the Raymond Chandler/Fulbright Fellowship in Detective Fiction at Oxford University.  Illustrator Info:Greg Call studied graphic design at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. After graduating in 1983, he worked as an Art Director at the Colorado Institute of Art until the desire to do more illustrative work found him in Pasadena, California, attending The Art Center College of Design. Upon graduation in 1988, he began working freelance for clients in music, entertainment, and publishing. Greg has been recognized for his work repeatedly, including awards from the Society of Illustrators and Addy awards among others.
Ridley Pearson is the award-winning author of the best-selling Kingdom Keepers series along with forty other novels for adults (suspense) and young readers (adventure) including cowriting Peter and the Starcatchers. Ridley spends a good deal of his time sneaking around the Disney parks and aboard the Disney Cruise Line ships all in the name of research.

In Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, Peter and Molly find themselves stranded in a harrowing kingdom ruled by a sadist who feeds his enemies to his hungry pet snake. Aside from survival, our brave young heroes have other concerns, not least which of which is the demonic shadow creature Lord Ombra, whose malevolence is on a grander scale. A Peter Pan trilogy with wings of its own.

In this double-stranded, nearly nonstop close to the Starcatchers trilogy (at least its direct line; the authors are also producing spin-offs), peaceful Mollusk Island is overrun by savage invaders, while Peter, acerbic Tinkerbell and the Starcatchers are away in the North African land of Rundoon battling the darkness-loving Others. For one long pause, the reconstituted shadow-eater Lord Ombra stops to explain in great detail the Others's scheme to rewind the entire universe back to its pre-Big Bang state, and to reveal that the fabulously valuable "starstuff" that falls to Earth occasionally is effluent from "a leak in the plumbing of the universe." Otherwise, it's all one grand and glorious string of captures, escapes and cliffhangers, with a large supporting cast featuring a flying camel, a giant snake, a mad Russian rocket scientist and lots of monkeys. In the end, all's been set right and the main characters are, more or less, in place for the opening of Peter Pan, to which this has all been a prelude. Kudos to Barry and Pearson for a funny, clever, melodramatic romp. (Fantasy. 11-13)

Fly with narrator Jim Dale through Peter Pan’s third adventure. Lord Ombra kidnaps Peter, and Molly and the Starcatchers follow them to Rundoon, home of the maniacal King Zarboff. Dale organizes the vast geography of the adventure so you’ll never lose track of the story. He manages individual voices for pirates, children, villains, and Tink without overacting. His warm, conversational reading moves the action forward and engages the listener. Dale has the uncanny knack of knowing his characters; he presents each personality to us as an intimate acquaintance. One caveat: Due to low sound levels and Dale’s relatively constant pitch, this recording is not for listening in the car. Much of the dialogue then becomes muffled.
