Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Even before you open its cover, you will want to touch the fuzzy, soft plush panda—complete with furry tail and paws—that greets you. Peter Panda, is his name, and he is the brother of the new baby panda. At first he is not too sure about this new addition to the family, but he soon finds out just how much fun having a playmate can be. It does not take him long to go from feeling left out to feeling lucky to have a baby around. This soft-covered board book is a fun read for infants and toddlers, and it will appeal to their playful fingers that just want to grab and touch. The book is durable, and it should take a lot of wear and tear. These playful pandas are a great gift for anyone having their second child, although you may need to remind big brothers that they need to wait a little while before they can roll and tumble with the baby like these pandas do! 2003, Emma Treehouse Ltd, Ages 6 mo. to 3.
