Overview

Peter Pandrew is the gut-wrenching story inspired by the true events of internet personality, Andrew Cristi's life, that deals with themes ranging from mental illness, sexuality, feminism, relationships, power, domination, identity, and coming of age- or lack there of.

Not your typical coming of age story, the series delves deep into the main character's depressions and flaws, dealing with bipolar disorder, temporal lobe epilepsy, borderline, narcissistic and histrionic personality disorder and prostitution.

Come with this powerful anti-hero on an incredible journey through his life as he refuses to grow up, falling into one self-destructive situation after another as you root for him to triumph through them, relating to him as he bares all in the most honest way you can imagine, with each chapter being like their own individual novel or adventure with an endless array of rich characters that come in and out of his life.

Be ready to have your eyes opened as the novel pushes the envelope at times to reveal a harsher reality than you could have ever expected, only to be brought back down to the most soothing and comforting fantasy land as you enter Andrew Cristi's Neverland.

Editorial Reviews

NA NA
Peter Pandrew is self-exploration at it's absolute finest. Writer Andrew Cristi delves deep into his often-disturbed psyche and takes us through a life that no one would ever want to let their mother read, without any shame, without any personal bias.

He never pens the story to appear victimized or self-pitying and often portrays himself as the villain in most situations. The self-awareness is deafening as he gives you a truly wonderful, multidimensional anti-hero.

    Grow up... Or not

The constant struggle to be taken seriously while holding on to your youth is a battle most in their late teens and early 20's seem to fight, but in "Peter Pandrew" this battle is more like heaven vs. hell. You want to hate "Andrew" in the book, I mean, he tries to remove any redeeming quality about him. However, there is so,etching about him that makes you like him, even cheer for him to win his battle and over come his demons. Part 2 is the perfect follow up to Part 1, taking you on the emontial roller coaster of a state of euphoria, utter sadness, craziness, feeling sorrowing and resentment and the while cheer for " Andrew" to surpass it all to over come each challenged he is faced.
