An excellent first guidebook on insects

Being a preschool teacher, this book comes in handy when children catch something in one of our "bug jars" and want to know what it is. We have spent countless hours, catching, identifying, and letting our bugs go, all the while enjoying the fresh air and great outdoors. Children love to just thumb through the book, and identify the few bugs they think they know, or ask the teacher to read all about a specific bug. It's a great small, concise book that easily fits into our backpack for a walk around the block or to the park.
