This version of an old favorite is a great way to expose children to a different dialect, cajun culture, and entertaining enough to keep adults involved. If the words are pronounced as written, a reader can't help but have a reasonably enthusiastic cajun accent. It also provides a refreshing experience in reading phonemically for adults. The humor is quick and light and the illustrations are a feast of eye candy (i.e. Mona Lisa as a Goose). Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
