    Very engaging

    My 10 month old twin boys have loved this book for weeks -- each page has easily recognizable animals and each texture is interesting to them, unlike some "texture" books where they only want to feel one page but the others are boring. Very colorful & attractive book -- one of the few they will actually sit still to look at! I'm going to get more from this series and hope they're as good as "Pets".

    Wonderful Book

    I received this book for my 10 month old as a gift and she just LOVES it. It has fur of a dog, whiskers for cat, fur of bunny, shiny plastic for fish, & a velvety tummy of a bird. It has entertained her for long periods. At first I was nervous about the cat whiskers but even she hasn't managed to pull on them to hard. It teaches her to be 'NIIIICE' to animals by petting! I can't wait to buy more in the series. It sure beats 'Pat the Bunny' which she ripped to shreds immediately.
